Does a retaining wall need drainage?
Yes — drainage is essential. Without proper weep holes and drainage behind the wall, water pressure builds up and causes failure. We always include drainage in our designs.
What materials do you use for retaining walls?
We work with brick, concrete block, natural stone (sandstone, limestone), gabion baskets and timber. Each material has different aesthetics, costs and strengths — we will advise.
