Fence repairs in Swindon

Fence repairs near me should not mean a new fence if two posts will do. We match materials where we can, and we will tell you when a repair is throwing money at rotten timber.

What is included

  • Single panel and post replacements
  • Concrete spur repairs on leaning bays
  • Gravel board swaps where the base has gone
  • Gate re-hangs and new ironmongery
  • Honest advice if replacement is cheaper

Options

  • Post repair

A concrete spur or a new post where the old one has snapped at ground level — the usual failure, not the panel.

  • Panel swap

One or two bays replaced to match the run, rather than a whole boundary you do not need.

  • Gate that will not latch

Adjustable hinges and a post that is actually plumb, so it still closes next winter.

  • Full replacement

If more than a third of the run is soft, we price a new fence beside the repair so you can choose.

How the job runs

  1. 01

Send photos on WhatsApp — many repairs can be judged before a visit.

  2. 02

We confirm whether a repair is worth it.

  3. 03

Materials are matched as closely as the existing fence allows.

  4. 04

The failed timber is taken away and the bay left safe.

What changes the price

We price this after photos or a visit. There is no fixed rate we would pretend is accurate.

  • · How many posts have actually failed
  • · Access for concrete and spoil
  • · Whether panels are a current size
  • · Making it safe the same week after a storm

Questions

Can you repair one panel?

Yes. A single bay is a normal job. If the posts either side are soft, we will say so before we fit a new panel onto a failing post.

Do you repair fences outside Swindon as well?

Yes, in the towns next door: Royal Wootton Bassett, Highworth, Cricklade, Purton, Faringdon and the villages between. Swindon postcodes are the quickest call-outs.

Notes
  • Repair counts are the parts you say need replacing. They are not a survey.
  • A new panel on a soft post will fail. Include the post if it is rotten at the ground.
  • Concrete is only for the new posts, using the hole size you enter.
