What types of sleepers do you use?
We use new pressure-treated softwood sleepers for most work — they are clean, consistent and long-lasting. We can also source reclaimed hardwood sleepers if you prefer a more rustic look.
How long do sleepers last?
Treated softwood sleepers last 15–20+ years. Hardwood sleepers (new or reclaimed) can last 30+ years. We always use quality materials to ensure longevity.
Can you build raised beds for vegetables?
Yes. Raised vegetable beds are one of our most popular sleeper projects. We can build to any size and height, and advise on soil mixes for growing.
Are sleeper steps safe?
Yes. We fix sleeper steps securely into the ground and apply non-slip coatings where needed. Steps are built to correct tread-and-riser dimensions for safety.
Can sleeper work be combined with other landscaping?
Absolutely — sleepers work beautifully alongside paving, planting, turf and decking. Many of our projects combine multiple elements for a complete garden design.
